Traci Taylor has been an artist for as long as she can remember. A painter, dancer and most recently a designer. Lately her professional work has been focused in kitchen and bath design, “It is a field that has no end of challenges to overcome. There is such dichotomy of creativity and technical considerations, it makes for really engaging projects.”

Taylor was and educated at the Art Institute of Colorado and is currently a designer at Design Studio West and an active member of A.S.I.D. She has carved a niche for herself in the San Diego Design community.

The fusion of materials that aren’t typical has become a trademark for Taylor. Her designs are at times very contemporary and in others classic and timeless. She is adept at meeting the needs of the client and providing a space that is always for them. In every instance her finished creations are unique, well appointed and extraordinary.

    Grand Prize Winner, “Kitchen of the Year", San Diego Home/Garden Magazine - 2008

Her work has been featured in such publications as: Architectural Digest, San Diego Home & Garden, San Diego Magazine, Ranch and Coast Magazine and Riviera.

After celebrating the birth of her first child, Miriam, Traci is returning to the life of a professional designer. A balancing act of the creative professional and a vibrant life at home. Her contribution to the design world is measurable, Taylor is a perfect fit for anyone looking to step outside of the ordinary and participate in the creation of something truly special.
