Material Melody

The clients purchased this traditional styled home knowing that it would need to be updated to meet their more contemporary design esthetic. Having worked with the clients on 3 other homes, the clients and I had a good understanding of direction the project would take. The design had to be easy to maintain, create easy passages from one area to another and aesthetically add elements of Southwest design with earthy color pallets, layered textural elements with simple natural materials.
